OpenComputer is a background agent cloud that provides full Linux microVM sandboxes for deploying and running AI agents at scale. Developers write agents as TypeScript functions, deploy them in seconds, and OpenComputer handles the loop, sessions, streaming, and versioning. Every session runs on a real Linux machine with shell access, filesystem, packages, and network capabilities. Sessions are durable, supporting mid-run steering, hibernation, and resumption. Security is built-in: model keys never enter the runtime, and secrets are injected only after requests leave the sandbox. Pricing is fully pay-as-you-go, with model calls at API pass-through rates and machine time billed per second.
