Terms is a minimal document signing tool for freelancers, studios and small businesses who send contracts. Contracts are written and edited as markdown in the browser, and a draft can be started by describing the deal to an AI assistant. Counterparties open a secure link, highlight text to comment inline, agree on changes, and sign with a typed e-signature. Users can also ask questions about existing agreements and get answers alongside the supporting clause. When the last signer signs, the document locks and a certificate of completion records the audit trail.
