Hold My Notes
by @nullbytes00Sticky notes docked to the edge of your Mac — a thin pill at rest, a fanned stack when you reach for it.
Hold My Notes is a Mac app that keeps sticky notes docked to the right edge of the screen, staying out of the way until needed. The deck sleeps as a slim pill showing one colored dash per note, then fans out as the pointer approaches — no clicks required. Notes open at full size directly from the edge, with changes written to disk 250 ms after typing stops. Archived notes disappear from the edge without being deleted, remaining searchable alongside active ones. Sync works through a user-chosen folder, such as iCloud Drive, with no account or external server involved. Note content is stored in a local SQLite database and encrypted before being written to disk, keeping data entirely private.
