Agentation is a visual feedback tool for developers who work with AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Codex, Gemini and Grok. Installed via npm, it adds a toolbar to the app where users click elements, select text or pause animations and attach notes. The output is formatted markdown containing CSS selectors, source file paths, the React component tree, computed styles and the feedback with intent and priority, so agents can grep for the exact element. With MCP integration, agents can list, query, clarify and resolve annotations directly. It is free for individuals and companies for internal use.
